The posting

Voor een gevestigde speler in het personenvervoer, gelegen in Turnhout, zijn we op zoek naar een Operationeel Verantwoordelijke. Het bedrijf verzorgt vandaag voornamelijk leerlingenvervoer voor scholen, maar kijkt ook vooruit: de komende jaren wil het de activiteiten verder uitbreiden met daguitstappen voor scholen, verenigingen, bedrijven en toeristische ritten.

Om die groei mee te ondersteunen, zoeken we iemand die graag verantwoordelijkheid opneemt, initiatief toont en mee wil bouwen aan de toekomst van het bedrijf.

Jouw rol

Je zorgt ervoor dat de dagelijkse werking vlot blijft draaien. Je combineert HR, administratie, communicatie en operationele opvolging, en geeft leiding aan een team van zo'n zestigtal medewerkers, voornamelijk chauffeurs.

Je staat in voor de loon- en personeelsadministratie, contracten, medische keuringen, Code 95, facturatie, offertes voor aanbestedingen en de opvolging van diverse administratieve dossiers. Ook de aanwerving van nieuwe collega's en het voeren van personeelsgesprekken behoren tot jouw verantwoordelijkheden.

Daarnaast ben je het aanspreekpunt voor chauffeurs, scholen, klanten, De Lijn en andere externe partners en zorg je ervoor dat afspraken correct worden opgevolgd. Loopt er 's morgens iets anders dan gepland door een panne, een afwezige chauffeur of een plotse wijziging? Dan schakel je snel, stel je de juiste prioriteiten en zorg je dat alles blijft draaien. Ook buiten de gewone kantooruren blijf je bereikbaar voor chauffeurs of dringende operationele vragen.

Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan zaakvoerder Marc en krijgt de ruimte om de dagelijkse werking zelfstandig te organiseren. Eén à twee keer per jaar ben je mee aanwezig op de raad van bestuur, en denk je actief mee na over de verdere groei van het bedrijf. Ook de jaarlijkse organisatie van het personeelsfeest valt onder jouw verantwoordelijkheden.

Wie ben jij?

Je hebt een eerste ervaring opgebouwd in organiseren, coördineren of leidinggeven. Of je hebt de maturiteit en het inzicht om die stap nu te zetten. Ambitie en groeipotentieel vinden we minstens even belangrijk als anciënniteit.

Je weet mensen op een positieve manier mee te nemen, durft beslissingen te nemen en behoudt ook tijdens drukke momenten het overzicht.

Ervaring binnen transport of personenvervoer is een mooie troef, maar geen must. Wel belangrijk is dat je voldoende organisatorisch inzicht meebrengt om deze brede verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen en je de sector snel eigen te maken.

Je hebt een bachelordenkniveau, of gelijkwaardig door ervaring, werkt vlot met de courante Office-toepassingen en spreekt en schrijft uitstekend Nederlands met een goede kennis van het Engels. Kennis Frans is een plus.

Rijbewijs B is een must, en je bent bereid om ook rijbewijs D te behalen.
