The posting

For our Client, an established and growing manufacturing company, we are looking for a:

Contract Manufacturing Organization Manager (F/M)

In this role, you will manage relationships with external manufacturing partners in Poland and across Europe, supporting the development of the product portfolio. You will combine procurement expertise, an understanding of production processes, and the ability to build long-term business relationships. Your priorities will be to ensure product availability, optimize costs, and deliver projects successfully with contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cooperation with contract manufacturers across your assigned product portfolio and build long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure continuity of supply by aligning production schedules, monitoring available manufacturing capacity, and proactively addressing potential delays.
  • Monitor production orders, maintain accurate delivery dates in relevant systems, and collaborate with Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams.
  • Analyze raw material and manufacturing costs and identify opportunities to optimize the total cost of working with manufacturing partners.
  • Lead price and commercial negotiations with support from your line manager and contribute to the preparation of contracts.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new manufacturers in collaboration with the Product Development team.
  • Coordinate new product introductions with external partners, ensuring adherence to timelines, technical feasibility, and effective communication.
  • Coordinate the availability of company-supplied raw materials and deliveries of semi-finished and finished goods.
  • Work with the Quality team on audits, complaints, and corrective actions, ensuring that manufacturing partners resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze partner performance, improve processes and reporting, and share insights into new technologies and manufacturing best practices.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, category management, or contract manufacturing management, preferably within the dietary supplements, food, FMCG, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • An understanding of production processes and the relationships between raw materials, technology, quality, and product costs.
  • Experience in supplier management, commercial negotiations, and building lasting business relationships.
  • Experience in managing projects involving cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • An analytical mindset, confidence in working with data, and the ability to translate analysis into actionable insights.
  • A self-directed approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Practical knowledge of ERP systems and tools for planning, reporting, and project management.
  • Experience in series or batch manufacturing and direct cooperation with external manufacturers would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in Polish and a strong command of English, enabling effective collaboration and negotiations in an international environment.
  • Willingness to visit the production site 2–4 times per month and travel within Poland and Europe, on average once every 6–8 weeks.

The offer includes:

  • Attractive salary under an employment contract.
  • Company car.
  • Primarily remote working arrangement, combined with regular visits to the production site and manufacturing partners.
  • Autonomous role reporting directly to the company’s headquarters.
  • Collaboration with international teams and manufacturers in Poland and other European countries.
  • The opportunity to shape manufacturing partnerships, optimize costs, and contribute to the introduction of new products and technologies.
  • Benefits package, including group insurance and a MultiSport card.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
