Join an international financial services team supporting investment funds across global markets. This role offers an opportunity to build expertise in fund accounting and fund operations while working closely with international stakeholders in a dynamic and growing environment.

About the role

As a Fund Expenses Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate processing, monitoring, and reconciliation of fund expenses. You will work with a variety of financial documents, ensure the quality of financial data, and support the day-to-day operations of investment funds.

This position combines accounting knowledge, analytical thinking, and stakeholder interaction, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to further develop their career within the investment funds industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Process and review fund-related expenses in accordance with established procedures.
  • Verify financial documentation and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
  • Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in financial data.
  • Monitor expense allocations and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting activities.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational projects.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy while working within strict deadlines.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, fund accounting, financial services, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel will be considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
