The posting

For our Client, a well-established international company operating in the packaging industry, we are looking for an experienced Facility & Infrastructure Engineer to join the manufacturing site.

The company is currently expanding its operations and investing in the development of its production facility. This is an important, highly independent role for a technically skilled professional who will be responsible for maintaining and developing the plant’s buildings, infrastructure and utilities, as well as preparing and delivering facility-related investment projects.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper technical condition, reliability and safety of buildings, installations and surrounding areas at the manufacturing site.
  • Plan, prepare and independently manage investment projects related to plant infrastructure, buildings, utilities and technical installations.
  • Develop project scopes, technical specifications, budgets, cost estimates, schedules and investment justifications.
  • Coordinate infrastructure works from concept and supplier selection through implementation, technical acceptance and handover.
  • Supervise external contractors, technical service providers and construction companies, ensuring quality, timeline and budget compliance.
  • Manage maintenance and service agreements related to buildings, installations and plant infrastructure.
  • Monitor the operation and consumption of utilities, including electricity, water, gas, heating, ventilation, cooling and compressed air.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise utility consumption, improve energy efficiency and increase the reliability of infrastructure systems.
  • Ensure continuity of utility supply and take preventive action to minimise technical and operational risks.
  • Coordinate preventive inspections, technical audits, repairs and corrective actions related to facilities and infrastructure.
  • Maintain technical, investment and fixed-asset documentation, including technical drawings, contracts, quotations, acceptance protocols and maintenance records.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire-protection, environmental and applicable technical regulations.
  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, Finance and external technical partners.

Your profile

  • University degree in a technical discipline — preferably Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in facility maintenance, building infrastructure, plant engineering or a similar technical role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in independently preparing and delivering investment projects related to buildings, utilities, technical installations and production-site infrastructure.
  • Strong practical knowledge of industrial building systems and utilities, including electrical installations, HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling, compressed air, water, gas and fire-protection systems.
  • Experience in planning, budgeting, coordinating and monitoring infrastructure investments, including cooperation with external contractors and technical service providers.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical decisions and manage multiple infrastructure-related projects simultaneously.
  • Good knowledge of technical documentation, electrical diagrams and 2D/3D drawings.
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English, minimum B2 level.
  • Driving licence, category B.

Nice to have

  • SEP authorisation up to 1 kV or equivalent electrical qualifications.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or other technical-design software

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
