The posting

Team Leader – Client Account Management

As a Team Leader in the Client Account Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate responses to client queries, meeting their needs and expectations. You will build, develop, and manage a team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and evolving controls and procedures to mitigate operational risk.
  • Leading efficiency initiatives to ensure departmental targets are met.
  • Ensuring reports and KPIs are delivered on time in line with SLA requirements.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for client escalations to mitigate risk.
  • Leading the migration of new clients or funds, ensuring smooth transitions and supporting business growth.

Requirements

Education:

  • BSc (Bachelor of Science) in Finance, Economics, Banking, or similar fields.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years in banking operations or securities services.
  • 1–3 years in team management.

Key Competencies & Abilities:

  • Client-focused, results-driven, and able to deliver outcomes consistently.
  • Strong organizational skills and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to develop, inspire, and mentor team members, enhancing their skills and commitment.
  • Skilled at building and leveraging networks and supporting organizational change.
  • Able to manage operational risk, handle client escalations, and drive efficiency initiatives.

Languages:

  • English – C1 (mandatory)
  • German – nice to have
