Location: Winchendon, MA Grade Levels: To Be Determined School Year: August 19, 2026 – June 11, 2027 Schedule: Full-Time | 8:00 AM–3:15 PM Setting: Onsite Salary: $60,000–$80,000 annually
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join a supportive school team in Winchendon, MA for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for an SLP looking to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting while collaborating with educators and related service professionals.
Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide speech and language services to students across the assigned grade levels. The specific caseload and grade-level assignment will be determined based on school needs and the candidate's experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students.
- Conduct evaluations and participate in the development and implementation of IEPs.
- Develop individualized speech and language goals based on student needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers.
- Support students' communication skills across academic and social environments.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Caseload & Work Environment
- Grade-level assignment and caseload are TBD.
- Caseload will be determined based on school needs.
- Office/workspace details are TBD.
- Onsite position within the school.
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts DESE licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Active Mass.gov SLP licensure.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- School-based experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
