Job Description

This position is scheduled Monday - Thursday 6AM to 4:30PM. We are seeking a Technical Team Leader to join our organization in Boynton Beach, United States. In this role, you will lead a team of technical professionals while maintaining hands-on involvement in complex technical projects. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, fostering a collaborative team environment, and delivering innovative solutions that align with organizational objectives. This position requires a balance of strong leadership capabilities and deep technical expertise to guide your team toward success.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
  • Oversee technical projects from conception through delivery, ensuring quality standards and timely completion
  • Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for code quality, documentation, and technical standards
  • Analyze complex technical challenges and make decisive decisions to resolve issues efficiently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scope
  • Manage team performance through regular feedback, performance reviews, and career development planning
  • Design and communicate technical architecture and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Participate in onboarding and training initiatives to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Monitor team productivity and resource allocation, optimizing workflows for maximum efficiency
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the team competitive and innovative

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development or related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team management role
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages and software development practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in system architecture and technical design
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with version control systems and collaborative development tools
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Ability to mentor and inspire team members while maintaining high performance standards
  • Familiarity with project management tools and performance tracking systems

This role is a working team leader who supervises approximately 1-5 assembly employees.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, observe, communicate and handle items such as computers, machinery and other equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
