The Senior Manager of Technical Strategy & Operations will help shape and execute technical strategies that accelerate decarbonization across textile manufacturing. This role combines industrial engineering expertise, climate technology research, strategic planning, and operational coordination. You will translate complex technical findings into actionable insights, structured methodologies, and practical resources that support decision-making and implementation. Working closely with technical leadership and cross-functional teams, you will strengthen knowledge management, improve collaboration, and help advance high-impact climate initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to influence industrial transformation by connecting research, technical solutions, and real-world manufacturing challenges. It is well suited to a proactive, analytical professional who thrives in a global, collaborative, and evolving environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Technical Strategy and Research: Coordinate research and assessments of climate technologies, including industrial utilities and textile processing solutions, decarbonization pathways, and manufacturing implementation challenges.
  • Build and maintain an organized library of technical research, industry intelligence, and internal and third-party analyses.
  • Synthesize complex technical information into clear frameworks, preliminary conclusions, and actionable insights to inform strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Monitor emerging technologies, industry developments, and implementation barriers, keeping leadership informed of relevant opportunities and challenges.
  • Leadership Support and Strategic Communication: Prepare presentations, strategic materials, technical documentation, and meeting briefs for internal and external audiences.
  • Translate discussions, technical assessments, and strategic ideas into clear recommendations, practical next steps, and well-structured content.
  • Support communications related to technical strategy and climate solutions, and help organize technical workshops, industry discussions, and site visits.
  • Improve technical decision-making processes, documentation practices, and knowledge-sharing systems.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination and Operations: Coordinate activities across the technical team, including solution evaluations, methodology updates, research initiatives, and knowledge management.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams, consultants, and external partners.
  • Track action items, meeting outcomes, research objectives, and project progress to maintain accountability and momentum.
  • Identify opportunities to improve information flow, operational efficiency, and coordination across technical projects.
  • Support leadership in executing high-priority initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Technical Knowledge and Documentation Management: Maintain technical knowledge systems, implementation methodologies, and accessible information resources.
  • Convert project experiences and practical learnings into reusable frameworks, methodologies, and training or reference materials.
  • Contribute to presentations, industry events, and discussions that strengthen the organization's credibility in industrial decarbonization.
  • At least 5 years of experience in energy consulting, industrial decarbonization research, technical program management, or a related field.
  • Experience with factory-level process engineering and industrial utilities.
  • Professional fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical and industry topics quickly and translate them into structured, accessible insights.
  • Exceptional logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities, information synthesis skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent PowerPoint, presentation development, and technical documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong execution skills, initiative, and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Genuine interest in climate technologies, industrial transformation, and practical decarbonization solutions.
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chains, energy, climate, or other industrial sectors.
  • Experience working with NGOs, global brands, philanthropic programs, or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Previous experience supporting senior leadership or coordinating cross-functional strategic projects.
  • Competitive salary based on the candidate's country of residence.
  • Annual bonus.
  • Standard employee benefits, with specific provisions depending on location.
  • Remote work opportunity within a global organizational environment.
  • The opportunity to contribute to meaningful climate action and industrial decarbonization initiatives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
