Are you passionate about solving complex technical problems, working with cutting-edge technology, and making a direct impact on semiconductor manufacturing?

As a Process Diagnostics & Control (PDC) Customer Engineer, you'll support advanced inspection and metrology systems that help the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers monitor, measure, and control critical production processes. These tools are often referred to as the "eyes of the fab" because they provide the data needed to ensure chips are built accurately and efficiently.

In this role, you'll work hands-on with sophisticated systems that combine optics, lasers, electron beam technology, vacuum systems, precision mechanics, and advanced software. You'll troubleshoot complex issues, maintain critical equipment, and partner directly with customers to keep their production running at peak performance.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, system calibrations, and equipment upgrades.
  • Diagnose complex hardware, software, optical, vacuum, and process-related issues.
  • Support production-critical tools that directly impact wafer yield, process control, and fab productivity.
  • Partner with customer engineering, process engineering, and manufacturing teams to optimize tool performance.
  • Analyze tool data and system performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Execute equipment certifications and maintain compliance with operational standards.
  • Provide timely technical support in a high-pressure manufacturing environment where equipment uptime is critical.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities across customer sites.
  • Deliver technical training and guidance to customers and internal teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
  • 4-7 years of work experience in semiconductor industry or other equipment support industry.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
  • Strong knowledge of hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport, if travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related technical disciplines.
  • Hands on experience with metrology and inspection equipment.

Physical Requirements: This position often requires extensive walking, standing for extended periods of time, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, working at height, lifting up to 35 lbs., the ability to distinguish between colors and working with electricity, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
