  • Strong communication skills, business judgment, ownership mindset, and bias for disciplined execution.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite supporting Austin Operations needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, logistics, supply chain, aviation, naval, aerospace, semiconductor, industrial, or other complex operational environments.
  • Familiarity with Lean, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, project management, or operational excellence methods.
  • Experience managing safety, quality, readiness, training, maintenance, logistics, or mission-critical operations.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and navigate a large, matrixed organization.
  • Interest in building a long-term career in Applied Materials Operations in Austin.

What We Offer

  • A structured Austin-based rotational program designed for external military leaders transitioning into operations leadership roles.
  • Hands-on business experience through rotations and project work with meaningful operational ownership.
  • Mentorship, coaching, and leadership exposure from operations leaders and functional managers.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
