Job Description
Human Resources announces an opening for an Hourly Instructional Assistant for Digital Literacy with the REEP Program at Arlington Public Schools. The Arlington Education and Employment Program (REEP) of Arlington Public Schools is a dynamic, multi-faceted English as a Second Language (ESL) program for adult English language learners who live or work in Arlington, Virginia.

Location: Syphax Education Center, 2110 Washington Blvd, Suite 106, Arlington, VA 22204
Time: Evenings
Responsibilities
· Assist teachers with digital literacy activities and technology-enhanced lessons.
· Support adult English learners as they practice using laptops, smartphones, and online learning tools.
· Maintain laptop charging carts and organize classroom technology.
· Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
· Help manage technology inventory and organization.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Work authorization in the United States, along with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
· College coursework or an associate degree in a related field (preferred).
· Ability to work patiently and effectively with adult multilingual learners.
· Proficiency with Windows, web browsers, email, Microsoft 365, and Google applications.
· Patient, friendly, clear communication style with strong customer service skills.
· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
· Patient, flexible, and approachable demeanor.
· Fluency in a second language (preferred).
Salary and Benefits:
· $18.60 per hour
· Additional paid opportunities for professional development and program support, subject to availability.
