About the assignment

We are looking for 2 Senior Cyber Security Engineers to start ASAP with assignment end 2027-03-31.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, troubleshoot and improve cloud-based cyber defense platforms, telemetry pipelines and integrations
  • Develop automation and platform improvements using python, Terraform, Git and CI/CD
  • Monitor service health, data flow, performance, cost and security; investigate failures and implement sustainable fixes
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, architecture decisions, risks and lifecycle plans
  • Collaborate with SOC analysts and other engineering teams to turn operational requirements into reliable, reusable solutions

Requirements

Mandatory

  • Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure Engineering experience
  • Good Linux/*nix skills, including navigating and troubleshooting virtual machines, containers and services
  • Practical Python development and automation experience
  • Experience with containers and preferably kubernetes
  • Leadership experience level: Senior individual contributor with demonstrated technical leadership, the consultant does not need formal personnel-management experience but must be able to independently lead technical initiatives, coordinate across teams, make sound engineering decisions and drive work from an unclear problem to a documented and sustainable production outcome

Nice-to-have

  • Security engineering, SIEM/SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR or large-scale telemetry experience is highly desirable
