Rollen är en viktig del av förvaltningens samlade ledning som tillsammans arbetar för att skapa riktning, samsyn och goda förutsättningar för dem vi är till för, eleverna. Låter det intressant? I Borås Stad är vi övertygade om att alla barn och elever vill och kan lära, och vi vill fortsätta att utveckla våra skolor och ha elevernas lärande i fokus. Inom organisationen ingår utöver skola även ansvar för Kost, lokalvård, vaktmästeri, Elevhälsa och CFL (Centrum för flerspråkigt lärande). I Borås finns 38 kommunala grundskolor och fyra anpassade grundskolor, med sammanlagt cirka 12 000 elever och 2600 anställda. Arbetsuppgifter Som biträdande förvaltningschef har du en central roll i att leda, samordna och utveckla förvaltningens verksamhet utifrån politiska beslut, lagstiftning och uppsatta mål. Du arbetar nära förvaltningschef tillika skolchef och är ställföreträdande vid behov. Du ingår i förvaltningens ledningsgrupp. I uppdraget ingår att tillsammans med verksamhetschefer, ha fokus på kvalitet och likvärdighet mellan skolorna. I rollen ingår idag personalansvar för två övergripande skolledartjänster som stöttar och ersätter förvaltningens rektorer när det uppstår behov eller vakanser. Rollen som biträdande förvaltningschef omfattar också personalansvar för förvaltningens IT- och digitaliseringsenhet som idag består av åtta medarbetare. Du förväntas omsätta förvaltningens digitaliseringsplan till praktisk verksamhetsutveckling och säkerställa att digitalisering och IT-stöd bidrar till ökad kvalitet, effektivitet och verksamhetsnytta. Kvalifikationer Vi söker dig som har akademisk examen med relevans för uppdraget. Du har erfarenhet av att leda andra chefer och god förståelse för skolans styrning, kvalitetsarbete och utvecklingsfrågor. Vi ser även att du: Har erfarenhet av att samverka med nämnd, fackligt förtroendevalda och andra intressenter. Har ett starkt intresse för skolutveckling och har ett systemteoretiskt synsätt där du ser helheten och förstår hur olika delar av organisationen påverkar varandra. Ser digitaliseringens möjligheter och förstår hur teknik, verksamhet och organisation behöver samspela för att skapa värde för elever, medarbetare och verksamhet. Är en relationsskapande ledare som skapar förtroende och engagemang samtidigt som du är handlingskraftig och driver arbetet framåt. Har förmåga att analysera fakta, göra välgrundade avvägningar och omsätta strategiska ambitioner till konkret handling.
