Rederi Mälarstaden bedriver passagerarbåttrafik på Mälaren och i Stockholms skärgård med tre passagerarbåtar, 1 arbetsbåt, samt bogsering/isbrytning i Västerås och Köpings hamn med två bogserbåtar. Vi tycker att skärgården i Mälaren är unik, och väl värd både ett och många besök. Sedan starten har vi fått flera fina utnämningar; Årets Nystartare 2007, Årets Tillgänglighetspris 2009, Årets Mälarentreprenör 2010, Årets Västmanlänningar 2010, nominerad till Västmanlands mest företagsamma 2012, månadens klimatsmarta företag samt årets branschvinnare 2024! Det är vi mycket stolta över. Över 100 000 passagerare åker varje år med våra fartyg. Och för varje år utvecklar och förnyar vi vårt utbud. Vi vill att du alltid ska hitta vackra, spännande och intressanta upplever hos oss. Du innehar lägst maskinbefäl klass VII behörighet och har ett genuint intresse av teknik och sjöfart och finner snabbt Din plats och blir en kugge i hjulet hos ett sammansvetsat gäng. Du har bra samarbetsvilja och är en frisk fläkt i ditt arbetssätt. Huvudmaskiner på bägge fartygen är NOAB så erfarenhet från liknande maskiner är ett plus. Även erfarenhet av elsystem och annan teknisk utrustning är ett plus. Arbetet som maskinbefäl sker deltid i synnerhet under perioden december-mars med de isbrytande bogserbåtarna Athos i Köping samt Anund i Västerås. Beroende på anställningsform kan Du även bli delaktig i rederiets övriga flotta, CAT, Scania samt Hedemora maskiner.
