We are recruiting an experienced specialist in geriatric medicine for a permanent position at a hospital located in a nature-rich part of Sweden. The hospital serves a stable population and provides structured inpatient care for older patients with complex medical needs. As a geriatrician, you will work with comprehensive geriatric assessment, treatment, and follow-up in close collaboration with internal medicine, rehabilitation services, nursing staff, and allied health professionals. The work is multidisciplinary and focuses on continuity, quality of care, and safe clinical pathways. Location and lifestyle The hospital is situated in an area known for forests, lakes, and easy access to outdoor activities throughout the year. Everyday life is calm, commuting times are short, and housing options are accessible. The area offers good conditions for family life, with schools, childcare, and public services within close reach. This setting is suitable both for physicians relocating on their own and for those moving together with family, offering a stable and predictable everyday environment.
