Bygg/fordon, avancerad ombyggnad av unik expedition-RV Jag söker en mycket kunnig, självgående och praktiskt lagd person för arbete på Gotland, med tydligt fokus på en omfattande ombyggnad av en fyrhjulsdriven Mercedes Sprinter-baserad husbil. Projektet handlar om att bygga om fordonet för att fungera med min specifika och omfattande funktionsnedsättning – i praktiken en specialanpassad plattform där lösningar utvecklas och förfinas löpande. Jag är filmskapare, äventyrare och tidigare byggare som efter en motorcykelolycka lever som förlamad (kvadrupel). Jag har byggt om fordon tidigare med egen praktisk mekanikerbakgrund – en av mina byggen finns numera på Volkswagens museum https://www.helagotland.se/nyheter/gotland/artikel/efter-alla-aventyr-nu-hamnar-thomas-beach-buggy-pa-volkswagens-museum/r3vom42l Jag driver fortfarande projekten och arbetar nära utförandet, men behöver rätt person för att omsätta idéer och konstruktioner i praktiken. Arbetet sker direkt under mig – med stort eget ansvar, men också med tydlig riktning och höga krav på precision. Fokus ligger på fordonet: mekanik, konstruktion, inredning och speciallösningar. Det kan innebära allt från modifieringar till mer omfattande ombyggnad beroende på vad som krävs för att nå rätt nivå. Målet är ett fullt fungerande, tillgängligt och på sikt expeditionredo fordon som jag själv kan använda och köra. Det här är i grunden en assistentroll, men inte med fokus på personlig omvårdnad. Den delen sköts av andra. Här handlar det om att vara mina händer i ett avancerat praktiskt projekt där detaljer, funktion och hållbarhet är avgörande. Du bör ha verklig erfarenhet inom ett eller flera av följande områden: Fordonsmekanik och modifiering Snickeri/konstruktion, gärna speciallösningar

Du behöver inte kunna allt, men det du gör ska hålla hög nivå. Jag arbetar noggrant och bygger för kvalitet. Mycket av arbetet innebär att hitta och genomföra lösningar som inte finns färdiga, vilket kräver både yrkesskicklighet och eget tänkande. Du arbetar självständigt men i nära samarbete med mig, tar ansvar för resultatet och är bekväm med att arbeta i ett projekt där riktning och lösningar utvecklas under tiden. Egna verktyg och egen, pålitlig transport är ett krav. Arbetet är timbaserat och börjar deltid. Jag bor cirka 10 minuter söder om Visby. Skriv kort vad du faktiskt kan.
