The posting

Vi söker nu en erfaren interim sektorsdirektör inom välfärd och omsorg till ett konsultuppdrag i Sundbyberg. Du får ett övergripande ansvar för att säkerställa kontinuitet i ledning, styrning och utveckling av en stor kommunal verksamhet.

Om uppdraget

Sektorn omfattar cirka 900 medarbetare och verksamhet inom socialtjänst, äldreomsorg, funktionsstöd, myndighetsutövning, vuxenutbildning, arbetsmarknad och integration.

Du leder verksamheten genom underställda chefer, leder sektorns ledningsgrupp och ingår i stadsdirektörens ledningsgrupp. Du rapporterar till stadsdirektören och arbetar inom det mandat och de beslutsbefogenheter som beställaren fastställer.

Målet är en stabil och fungerande ledning under interimsperioden, med kontinuitet i styrning, ekonomi, beslutsberedning och samverkan.

Arbetsuppgifter

  • Ansvara för den löpande strategiska ledningen av sektorns verksamhet, ekonomi, personal och arbetsmiljö inom beslutat mandat
  • Leda sektorns ledningsgrupp och bidra till organisationens gemensamma ledningsarbete
  • Säkerställa fungerande budget-, uppföljnings- och prognosarbete samt bidra till ekonomi i balans
  • Bereda och presentera kvalificerade beslutsunderlag och konsekvensanalyser
  • Stödja genomförandet av politiskt beslutade mål och prioriterade utvecklingsinsatser
  • Samverka med förtroendevalda, fackliga företrädare, myndigheter och andra relevanta aktörer
  • Dokumentera väsentliga avstämningar och ställningstaganden inom sektorns ledning och styrning
  • Genomföra en skriftlig och muntlig överlämning vid uppdragets avslut

Obligatoriska krav

Vi söker dig som har:

  • Relevant högskoleutbildning inom exempelvis socialt arbete, samhällsvetenskap, offentlig förvaltning, juridik eller ekonomi, eller annan utbildning och erfarenhet som sammantaget bedöms likvärdig
  • Flerårig erfarenhet som socialchef, socialdirektör, förvaltningschef, sektorschef eller i annan jämförbar ledande roll i en politiskt styrd organisation
  • Erfarenhet av att leda större verksamhet med betydande budget-, verksamhets- och personalansvar genom underställda chefer
  • Erfarenhet av ekonomisk styrning, uppföljning och förändringsledning
  • God förståelse för samspelet mellan politisk ledning och tjänstemannaorganisation samt erfarenhet av att ta fram underlag inför politiska beslut
  • Mycket god förmåga att kommunicera på svenska i tal och skrift
