The posting

Are you an experienced Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer who wants to build secure and scalable cloud platforms? We are looking for someone who enjoys working hands-on with modern platform technologies, automation, and developer experience in an environment with high standards for security and quality. This is a long-term consulting assignment with one of our clients in the aerospace and defense industry, where you will play an important role in developing a strategic cloud platform that enables secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery. You will be employed by Logikfabriken and work as a consultant on an assignment with one of our clients. In this role, you will work as a Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer, helping to build and further develop a cloud platform that combines OpenStack-based IaaS with modern PaaS and SaaS services. An important part of the role is to create efficient self-service solutions and provide development teams with the tools and capabilities they need for fast, secure, and scalable software delivery. We believe you are self-driven, curious, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating, sharing knowledge, and creating technical solutions that make everyday work easier for development teams.

TECH AND SKILLS

Build and maintain OpenStack-based IaaS environments

Develop self-service solutions for development teams

Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools such as Terraform and Ansible

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Apply GitOps principles

Build and manage container platforms using Kubernetes and Docker

Work with observability, security, and compliance

Collaborate closely with agile development teams

Act as a technical advisor, providing structure, direction, and proposed solutions

Contribute to automation, platform development, and an improved developer experience

EXPERIENCE

5+ years of relevant experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles

Solid experience working with Linux environments

Experience with scripting in Bash or Python

Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent

Solid knowledge of Git and version control

Experience with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices

Experience working closely with development teams in agile environments

Experience with security, risk management, and compliance in cloud and platform environments

Experience with automation and platform development, with a focus on developer experience

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with OpenStack, Ceph, or other private cloud and virtualization platforms

Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux

Experience with DevSecOps practices

Experience with observability solutions

Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs)

Experience working in large organizations with high requirements for security, quality, and regulatory compliance
