Anyfin is building the next generation of consumer finance. We’re profitable, scaling quickly and now operating with a banking license which opens up a lot of technical complexity. We’re looking for a senior cloud engineer who enjoys moving fast, taking real ownership and building systems that actually have an impact. If that sounds like your kind of environment, keep reading. We’re not a company that grows by adding headcount everywhere, we grow by keeping the bar high and building a team where every person matters. This isn’t a place where you disappear into a big org. If you join, you’ll have real influence on what we build and how we build it. What you’ll do Designing, deploying and operating cloud infrastructure and services on GCP to support scalable and reliable systems.

Building, optimizing and scaling backend systems with a cloud-first mindset, using Node.js and SQL (Postgres).

Contributing to system architecture to ensure cloud scalability, reliability and maintainability of financial systems.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to shape both product direction and business strategy.

Sharing cloud and infrastructure expertise with the team while promoting best practices.

Our main stack is TypeScript, Node.js, React, React Native running on Google Cloud Platform. How we think about building We’re pragmatic. We like speed, but we also care about building things that last. AI isn’t a side tool here. It’s embedded in how we work helping engineers move faster, reduce friction and focus on solving meaningful problems. We’re looking for engineers who are curious about that shift and want to be part of it, rather than people who feel like good engineering means doing everything the hard way. No ego. Just good judgment and high output. You’ll thrive here if you… Have solid experience building backend systems with cloud-first practices and working with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Want to build, not just maintain.

You’re comfortable with things like:

Strong background in cloud infrastructure and backend development with Node.js and SQL databases (preferably Postgres).

Experience in designing, deploying and monitoring solutions on major cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in high-stakes environments like finance.

Passionate about solving complex backend and cloud problems with clean, pragmatic solutions.

Solid understanding of system design and architecture.

Bonus if you’ve worked with React, Python, Go, GraphQL, Kubernetes, or DevOps with Github Actions.
