You? A curious and collaborative individual eager to learn, share knowledge, and help developer teams succeed.

Role? Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). You will maintain and evolve our platform, keeping services highly available while making life easier for our developers.

Tech stack? Kubernetes, Google Cloud (GCP), PostgreSQL, Kafka, Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code, and observability tooling.

Location? Join us in our Stockholm or Oslo office with the flexibility to work 3 days per wee

Company? Vend Marketplaces, home of FINN, Blocket, Tori, Oikotie, DBA & Bilbasen, where millions of people across the Nordics connect to find what they need, whether it’s a job, a home, a way to move, or a fresh start!

Why us? This is your chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting over a thousand production changes weekly in a supportive, diverse environment. Enjoy a healthy work-life balance where overtime is rare, continuous learning opportunities, and work with technologies that empower millions across the Nordics.

Sounds like your cup of tea? Check out the details below!

WHO ARE YOU?

Engineering background: You have shipped code to production and operated services in cloud environments. You know the difference between code that works and code that runs reliably. Strong communicator: You explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and proactively keep stakeholders informed. Curious and adaptable: You don't need to arrive knowing everything, but you have a strong desire to learn new technologies and develop your skills continuously. Collaborative team player: You enjoy working with others towards a common goal and find it motivating to help your colleagues succeed in a diverse and inclusive environment. Knowledge sharer: You actively contribute to discussions about technology and thrive when sharing your expertise to uplift the team. Problem solver: You approach advising, planning, monitoring, and diagnosing problems with a flexible mindset. English Fluency: You write and speak English well. It is the working language across our teams in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, and Finland. Education: A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. We value different paths into SRE.

WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?

Goal and mission: Keep our services highly available and provide an effective, automated platform for all our developers to work with. Day-to-day: You will be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from advising and planning to the deployment of new services, as well as monitoring and diagnosing problems. You'll focus heavily on automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous delivery. Current projects: Empowering developer workflows through building platforms, scaling our Kubernetes setup in Google Cloud, and exploring/deploying new technologies to support over a thousand weekly production pushes. Stakeholders: You'll work closely with internal developers, the wider infrastructure team, and stakeholders across our Nordic marketplaces. Communication: Communication is central—you'll collaborate daily with developers, participate in incident response, and help teams understand platform capabilities. Observability: You'll help teams understand their systems — building dashboards, refining alerts, and improving logging so developers can troubleshoot faster and ship with confidence. AI-assisted workflows: We actively use AI tools to enhance how we work - from troubleshooting and automation to learning and documentation. We're always exploring how to leverage these tools better. You’ll help shape that.

A few words from Birgir Stefansson, Engineering Manager

" We're a team within Vend's Delivery Platforms, distributed across Oslo, Stockholm, and Aarhus, supporting developers across FINN, Blocket, DBA, Tori, and our other Nordic marketplaces.

Our team brings together different backgrounds, experiences, and cultures — and that diversity makes us stronger. Being distributed means clear communication is how we work: pairing on solving problems, sharing context openly, and celebrating each other's wins. If you're curious, collaborative, and want to help shape how hundreds of developers ship code every day, I'd love to hear from you."

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
