Nu söker vi en engagerad och driven souschef som vill bli en viktig del av vårt kök och samtidigt njuta av en storslagen fjällvärld med norrsken, midnattssol och fantastiska fritidsmöjligheter. Som souschef har du en central roll i den dagliga driften av köket och ansvarar för att servicen flyter på med hög kvalitet, struktur och ett gott samarbete mellan kök och servering. Du leder genom att vara en förebild, stöttar och motiverar dina kollegor och bidrar till en positiv, respektfull och lösningsorienterad arbetsmiljö. I rollen ingår även att säkerställa kvalitet, struktur och hygien i köket samt planera mise en place, lager och beställningar. Tillsammans med kökschefen arbetar du med kostnader, matsvinn och menyutveckling. Du är en viktig länk mellan kök, kökschef och servering, löser problem som uppstår under service och bidrar aktivt till att utveckla både teamet och verksamheten. Vi söker dig som har ett stort intresse för matlagning och yrket, trivs i ett högt tempo och tycker om att arbeta tillsammans med andra. Du har minst sex års erfarenhet inom restaurang, gärna med tre års utbildning och tre års arbetslivserfarenhet från à la carte-restaurang. Du är trygg i din yrkesroll, har god kommunikationsförmåga på svenska och/eller engelska och trivs med att ta ansvar. Som person är du engagerad, prestigelös och lösningsorienterad och motiveras av att skapa riktigt bra mat och få ett team att fungera tillsammans. Tjänsten är på 100 % och är en tillsvidareanställning. Arbetstiderna varierar utifrån verksamhetens behov och innebär arbete på både vardagar och helger. Personalboende finns att tillgå vid behov. Camp Ripan’s kitchen is one of Sweden’s most climate-conscious kitchens, where we use modern technology and sustainable practices to minimise our environmental impact. We are now looking for an engaged and driven Sous Chef who wants to become an important part of our kitchen team while enjoying the spectacular mountain environment, with the Northern Lights, Midnight Sun and fantastic outdoor activities right on your doorstep. As Sous Chef, you will play a central role in the daily operation of the kitchen and be responsible for ensuring that service runs smoothly, with high quality, structure and strong cooperation between the kitchen and other departments. You lead by example, support and motivate your colleagues, and contribute to a positive, respectful and solution-oriented working environment. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring quality, structure and food safety in the kitchen, as well as planning mise en place, monitoring stock levels and handling orders. Together with the Head Chef, you will work with food and labour costs, food waste and menu development. You will be an important link between the kitchen, Head Chef and service, solving problems that arise during service and actively contributing to the development of both the team and the operation. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for cooking and the profession, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. You have at least six years of experience in the restaurant industry, preferably including three years of culinary education and three years of professional experience in an à la carte restaurant. You are confident in your professional role, have good communication skills in Swedish and/or English, and enjoy taking responsibility. As a person, you are committed, humble and solution-oriented, with a genuine motivation to create great food and help a team perform at its best. This is a full-time, permanent position (100%). Working hours vary according to the needs of the business and include both weekdays and weekends. Staff accommodation is available if needed.
