The Game Assembly (TGA) is a Higher Vocational Education institution that focuses on education within game development. Since 2008, we've been passionate about offering practical and creative programs to nurture and inspire future talent for both the Swedish and international games industry. Recognized by The Rookies as one of the best game and design schools globally, we're proud to supply the industry with employees who possess in-demand skills, such as animators, technical artists, level designers, graphic designers, procedural artists, and programmers. Today, nearly 10 percent of professionals active in the Swedish games industry were educated at The Game Assembly. Our schools are located in Malmö and Stockholm. The Game Assembly (TGA) är en yrkeshögskola i Malmö och Stockholm som utbildar spelutvecklare till den nationella och internationella spelbranschen. The Game Assembly startade 2008 och utbildar spelutvecklare inom sex olika yrkeskategorier; programmering, grafik, animation, leveldesign, technical art och procedural art. Fram till idag har The Game Assembly utbildat drygt 10% av den svenska spelbranschen vilket gör skolan till en stark aktör i dataspelbranschens ekosystem. TGA har under de tre senaste åren hamnat på topplaceringar på The Rookies årliga lista för världens bästa spelutvecklarskolor. The Game Assembly är hbtqi-certifierande och bedriver ett aktivt arbete för inkludering och mångfald. Om tjänsten En av våra spelgrafikutbildare ska vara tjänstledig och vi på The Game Assembly söker en vikarie inom spelgrafik som kommer att arbeta med att utbilda våra studerande på plats på Stora Essingen i Stockholm. Vi söker dig som kan komplettera våra kunskaper och tillsammans med andra utbildare inom spelgrafik driva utbildningen framåt. Arbetet omfattar undervisning med tillhörande för- och efterarbete samt handledning av de studerande i dels spelprojektskurser, dels mer specialiserade individuella kurser. Kurserna under vikariatet omfattar specialisering (portfolio), konceptkonst och två spelprojekt i studerandes egna C++-motorer. Alla kurser finns på vår hemsida. The Game Assemblys unika utbildningskoncept bygger på att utbildningarna på skolan tillsammans skapar spel vilket gör att du även kommer ha ett tätt samarbete med de övriga utbildningsansvariga. Vem söker vi? För att trivas i rollen som utbildare ser vi att du är kommunikativ och har ett genuint intresse för människor och spelutveckling. Du har en god pedagogisk förmåga tillsammans med ett ödmjukt förhållningssätt och tålamod. Arbetet innebär mycket eget ansvar där en förmåga att planera och strukturera arbetet är av stor vikt. Du behöver ha god förståelse för svenska språket då hela utbildningen bedrivs på svenska. Vi ser gärna att du har:

Bred kunskap inom spelgrafik

God kunskap inom konceptkonst och 2D-grafik

Erfarenhet av programvarorna Adobe Photoshop och Blender

God förståelse för visuell läsbarhet, formspråk och färg

Insatt i tillvägagångssätt och branschstandard för realistisk såväl som för stiliserad grafik

Förmåga att ge estetisk feedback

Erfarenhet från spelbranschen

Vi ser det som en bonus om du har:

Erfarenhet av handledning

Erfarenheter så som skulptur, anatomi och kroki
