Coordinator of Safety & Risk Help create a safer, stronger organization! $60,000–$70,000/year | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM The Arc Erie County NY is seeking a Coordinator of Safety & Risk to support safety, risk management, and accident-prevention efforts across our organization. This is an opportunity for a safety-minded professional who can identify potential risks, analyze trends, develop practical solutions, and work collaboratively with teams throughout the agency. Where You’ll Make an Impact

Coordinate agency-wide safety and risk management initiatives Conduct safety inspections and recommend improvements Develop and deliver safety and accident-prevention training Lead the agency’s Safety Committee Review safety data and identify trends and areas of concern Participate in accident investigations and recommend preventive measures Support emergency preparedness plans and drills Assist with insurance and organizational risk-management activities

Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Occupational Safety, or a related field

OR

Five years of experience in Safety and Risk Management within a multi-dimensional organization

  Preferred Experience We are particularly interested in candidates who bring:

Knowledge of safety and risk management best practices Experience developing policies, reports, and safety-related recommendations Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills OSHA or emergency preparedness certifications Experience with commercial insurance, safety, or risk management
