Direct Support Professionals (DSP)- Residential Services The Arc Erie County NY   A Quick Note About This Role: This position involves direct interaction and hands-on support with adults with developmental disabilities.  Some days are incredibly rewarding, but the work can also require patience, teamwork, and consistency.   The people we support depend on us every day, so we are looking for great staff who are reliable, compassionate, and committed to showing up for them.   If you’re someone who enjoys helping others and building meaningful relationships, this can be the most rewarding career you’ll ever have.    For the people we support, our staff are often the most important people in their day.

  What You’ll Do Every Single Shift

Work directly with individuals and provide hands-on direct care Assist with daily routines such as meals, activities, and personal care Encourage independence and life skills Support community outings and recreation Be a positive role model and part of a supportive team

Basic Requirements

Valid NYS driver’s license & approved driving record High school diploma or GED preferred Human services experience helpful but not required- we provide paid training Upbeat, positive attitude
