Join Ardent Principles as an Applications Developer, where you'll create dynamic frontend and backend applications that directly impact end users and production teams. Working with technologies such as React, Angular, Node.js, AWS, GitHub, and modern database platforms, you'll help develop scalable, high-performance solutions that drive efficiency, usability, and mission success.

Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

  • Frontend and backend application development support for applications and services used to improve producer experience.
  • Frontend and backend application development support for applications and services used to facilitate the production of complex visual products.
  • Version control software including Git and GitHub.
  • Presentational development including HTML5/CSS3, Hugo or other static site generators, and SASS.
  • Functional development including Javascript, Angular, Vue, React and Node.js.
  • Working with any combination of the following; Typescript, Webpack, Lerna, or Electron.
  • Cloud-based infrastructure development and automation including AWS, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS S3, AWS ELB.
  • Working with any of the following (experience with all three libraries is a plus); Express.js, Koa.js, or NGINX.
  • Working with any of the following; RDS, MySQL, or DynamoDB.

Highly Desired Qualifications

Other technologies, tools and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include working with:

  • Cloud-based infrastructure development, auditing, and automation using: DynamoDB, ECS, ElasticSearch, or Kibana.
  • Jenkins or other related automation services.
  • Oracle.
  • Supporting system security documentation.
  • Mobile mapping capabilities and charting.
  • Fastify.
