Network Engineer je klíčová pozice ve vztahu ke klientům Arelion a k NOC základně, provádějící definované úkoly v oblasti monitorování optické páteřní sítě a eskalačního řízení na pracovišti s nepřetržitým provozem ve směnném pracovním režimu, a to včetně fáze komplexní klientské podpory. Odborná způsobilost a požadavky: široké provozní zkušenosti s IP platformami (Cisco, Arista), mobilními daty a přenosovými technologiemi (fiber, xWDM) včetně dodavatelů jako Infinera a Ciena, prokazatelné technické know-how a dovednosti v oblasti odstraňování závad příslušných platforem (např. xWDM, TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS), úroveň výkonného uživatele operačních systémů Windows/Linux Server/Client, zkušenost s prací NOC nebo technické podpoře v mezinárodním telekomunikačním prostředí, zájem o softwarové nástroje a účast na iniciativách souvisejících s IT, plynulá angličtina na profesionální úrovni. Klíčová rozhraní: síťová rozhraní, včetně řízení závažných incident a výpadků, rozhraní pro zákazníky, s odpovědností za řešení incidentů souvisejících se službami, úzká spolupráce s ostatními provozními týmy. Téměř veškerá činnost je prováděna v anglickém jazyce. Network Engineer is the key role in relation to Arelion clients and NOC base, performing defined tasks in fiber backbones network monitoring and escalation management at the workplace with uninterrupted service (24/7) in a shift working mode, including phase of comprehensive client support. Specific area of expertise, requirements: Solid operational experience with IP platforms (Cisco, Arista), Mobile Data, and Transmission technologies (fiber, xWDM) including vendors such as Infinera and Ciena Documented technical knowhow and skills in terms of troubleshooting per relevant platform (e.g. xWDM, TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS,) Power user experience on Windows/Linux Server/Client operating systems, Experience working in a NOC or technical support function within an international telecom environment, Interest in software tools and participation in IT-related initiatives, Fluent professional English. Key Interfaces: Network-facing, including major incident and outage management, Customer-facing, with responsibility for service-specific incident handling, Close collaboration with other operational teams. Almost all activities are done in English.
