Job Description

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organisations.

Tasks:

  • Model and document value chains, business processes, roles, capabilities, and data
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and user stories
  • Support business experts and product owners in defining requirements
  • Maintain and track requirements throughout the system lifecycle
  • Translate business and user needs into business requirements specifications
  • Map business goals, benefits, priorities, components, and system features
  • Analyse existing systems and business capabilities
  • Identify and evaluate solution options
  • Support business case preparation and feasibility studies
  • Contribute to solution design, testing, quality assurance, and change management
  • Design, validate, and optimize business processes
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across business processes
  • Coach business stakeholders on upcoming changes and process improvements
  • Work with process owners to identify optimization opportunities
  • Improve customer service, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency
  • Communicate project objectives, business cases, requirements, and scope to stakeholders
  • Perform quantitative process analysis, including cost-benefit and what-if scenarios
  • Support organizational change management initiatives
  • Implement process performance monitoring mechanisms
  • Assist in developing strategic and tactical business plans
  • Define transition roadmaps aligned with business architecture objectives

Qualifications

Knowledge and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of project experience relevant to the profile
  • Minimum English Language Proficiency: C1 (CEFR)
  • Completed at least one full software solution lifecycle
  • Knowledge of business process modelling using BPMN
  • Experience in requirements gathering and user story elicitation/analysis
  • Knowledge of modelling and analysis techniques using UML, including:Capability Diagrams Activity Diagrams State Diagrams Logical Data Models
  • Proficient with modelling tools such as:Sparx Enterprise Architect ARIS Architect Similar modelling tools
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Specific requirements

  • Acted as Business Analyst (BA) on a large-scale ERP implementation project (duration >1 year and budget >€1M)
  • Experience in analyzing business processes including:Logistics Warehouse Management Asset Management Fleet Management Financial Management Legal HR Project Management
  • Experience in business analysis (and optionally system analysis) within the ServiceNow platform, including:Custom/scoped applications ITSM Hardware Asset Management CMDB SecOps Customer Service Management Enterprise Asset Management Strategic Portfolio Management On-prem and cloud environments
  • Holds at least one valid ServiceNow certification such as:Certified System Administrator (CSA) Citizen Developer Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Other relevant ServiceNow certifications

Required Certificates (At least 1 certification among):

  • Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) or equivalent
  • Certified UML Professional certification at Foundation level or equivalent
  • BPM 2 Fundamental level certification or equivalent
  • Other internationally recognized equivalent certifications (subject to acceptance by the Contracting Authority)
