Job Description

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Consultant to join one of our client teams in Luxembourg, working within a European institution.

In this role, you will support the modernization of the client's data and reporting environment, transitioning from SAP BusinessObjects to a modern platform based on Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform. You will combine hands-on technical development with solution design and advisory responsibilities, ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business needs.

THE WORK:

  • Analyze existing reporting solutions built on SAP BusinessObjects, including data sources, business logic, and reporting requirements.
  • Gather and document functional and technical requirements through workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Design and implement modern data architectures using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture principles.
  • Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes to support efficient data management and reporting.
  • Design and develop Power BI reports, executive dashboards, and semantic data models, ensuring performance optimization through advanced DAX.
  • Develop solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse to streamline business processes and improve traceability.
  • Support the migration of existing risk reporting solutions to the new Microsoft data platform.
  • Ensure data architecture and reporting solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including BCBS239, RDARR, and DORA.
  • Define development standards, data governance practices, testing strategies, and DevOps processes.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance, share best practices, and ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen collaboration.

Our roles require in-person time to encourage collaboration, learning, and relationship-building with clients, colleagues, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Senior-level professional experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or data platform development.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse architecture, Medallion Architecture, data pipelines, and data transformation.
  • Advanced experience with Power BI, including semantic data modeling, DAX, report development, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Experience with SAP BusinessObjects, including analysis and reverse engineering of existing reporting solutions.
  • Good understanding of banking risk management concepts and regulatory frameworks, including BCBS239, RDARR, and DORA.
  • Experience in data architecture design, data governance, and data historization.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, development standards, and testing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, facilitate workshops, and provide technical guidance to other team members.
  • Fluent English (mandatory).

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Previous experience in banking, financial services, or risk reporting environments.
  • Experience migrating legacy BI and reporting solutions to Microsoft Fabric or other modern cloud data platforms.
  • Experience working on data modernization projects within European institutions or other regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) methodologies.
  • Experience delivering executive-level dashboards and regulatory risk reporting solutions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
