We are seeking a highly capable Salesforce Administrator Senior to join our Product and UX Technology team to support and advance a large, complex Salesforce ecosystem serving recruitment and enrollment stakeholders across the University. You will be a senior individual contributor reporting directly to Salesforce leadership.

Every day you will make a difference in the lives of others by being hands-on and execution-focused, with primary responsibility for declarative configuration, backlog and ticket execution, and day-to-day system enhancement. You will partner closely with stakeholders, provide informed advisory guidance, and independently drive assigned work forward by setting a strong standard for quality, reliability, and follow-through.

Why EdPlus?

  • Mission-Driven Work: Support recruitment and enrollment efforts that expand access to higher education.
  • Stable Environment: A mature Salesforce organization with sustained institutional investment.
  • Meaningful Impact: Your work directly supports front-line teams and leadership decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across enrollment, data, marketing, and the broader University.

Essential Duties:

Salesforce System Administration and Configuration

  • Serve as senior administrator responsible for configuring, maintaining, and enhancing Salesforce functionality in support of recruitment and enrollment operations.
  • Maintain and improve automation, data stewardship processes, and overall system reliability in an environment with ongoing demand and a sizable backlog.

Solution Design and Delivery

  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable declarative solutions aligned with business needs and platform best practices, and long-term sustainability.
  • Translate complex business requirements into practical Salesforce solutions, asking thoughtful questions and providing clear recommendations on feasibility, tradeoffs, and approach.
  • Own assigned projects and enhancements from intake through delivery, exercising sound judgment and coordinating with other Salesforce team members and stakeholders as appropriate.

Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with front-line recruitment teams and enrollment leadership, along with data and marketing stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the ongoing expansion of recruitment use cases into an established Salesforce environment.

Data Management & Quality

  • Support data quality efforts including deduplication, data hygiene, and selective use of ETL tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, and DemandTools.

Documentation & Release Management

  • Maintain system and process documentation in alignment with University standards and team practices.
  • Participate in release activities and deployments, including occasional after-hours work as required.

General Responsibilities

  • Assume or coordinate other duties or projects as assigned or directed.

NOTE: This is an in-person, hybrid position. You must be able to reliably commute to Scottsdale, AZ.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience administering Salesforce in a production environment.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of declarative Salesforce development, including configuration, automation, reporting, dashboards, and user management.
  • Experience designing and maintaining data models with attention to relationships, reporting needs, data storage, and data integrity.
  • Experience creating and maintaining clear, high-quality documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-demand environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Evidence of strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide informed guidance.
  • Evidence of Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator I certification.
  • Evidence of Salesforce Platform Administrator II and/or Salesforce Platform App Builder certification.
  • Experience contributing to large-scale Salesforce initiatives or phased system expansions.
  • Experience in performing large data migrations/updates using enterprise ETL tools.
  • Experience working with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Gearset and basic knowledge of SOQL.

NOTE: Please answer the following questions in your cover letter:

  • Briefly describe a Salesforce enhancement or project you delivered within a complex organization where requirements or documentation were incomplete. How did you assess the current state and decide what actions to take? Be as detailed as possible.
  • In a mature Salesforce environment, what factors guide your decision to build on existing architecture versus refactoring or redesigning it?

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
