The posting

About Us

At Armadin, we're a group of engineers, researchers, and security researchers on a mission to redefine what proactive security can do in the AI era. Cyberattacks are becoming autonomous and relentless and we believe defending against threats before they materialize is one of the most powerful ways to protect the institutions the world depends on.

We're building autonomous proactive security from the ground up, reinforcing the tradecraft of elite security practioners into purpose-built security models and agents that discover risk and remediate it before organizations are breached.

Led by Kevin Mandia, founder of Mandiant ($5.4B exit to Google), our team brings together researchers and engineers from Google, xAI, Meta, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Waterloo, Berkeley, and MIT to reinvent security for an adversary that never sleeps.

The Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Armadin, you'll embed with enterprise teams, deploy our agentic platform into their environment, and build whatever it takes to make it work for them. You're the person in the room when the customer hits a wall and the person who ships the fix that night. Your job is to make every customer feel like Armadin was built for them, then bring what you learn back into the product so the next deployment is faster than the last.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver the Magic: Own the customer journey from pre-sales scoping through deployment and expansion, making the first weeks feel effortless.
  • Customize at the Edge: Build customer-specific integrations, workflows, and agent configurations on top of the Armadin platform.
  • Embed with Customers: Work directly with security, platform, and DevOps teams and CISOs, turning ambiguous requirements and compliance constraints into shipped deployment plans.
  • Build the Playbook: Turn what you do by hand into runbooks, automation, and self-service tooling for every customer after.
  • Close the Loop with Product: Bring field signal back to Engineering, Product, and Research.
  • Own Operational Health: Lead upgrades, scaling, and incident support for our most critical deployments.

What You'll Bring

  • Forward Deployed DNA: You've worked as a forward deployed engineer, deployment strategist, solutions engineer, or similar, and have a track record of owning customer outcomes in the field.
  • Top-Tier AI Experience: Time at a leading AI company or AI-native startup where you shipped LLM-powered products to real customers.
  • Technical Range: Strong software fundamentals plus hands-on cloud and deployment depth (AWS, Terraform, containers, networking), including deployments into customer-owned environments.
  • Bias to Ship: You'd rather build a working solution on-site than write a requirements doc, and you own what you build through operational health.
  • AI Fluency & Judgment: AI shapes how you build, and you know when to configure, when to extend, and when to push a capability back into the core platform.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Even Better With

  • Early-stage experience building deployment operations, playbooks, and tooling from scratch.
  • Go, Python, or TypeScript services in production.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
