About Armaments Research Company

Armaments Research Company (ARC) is a technology company dedicated to bringing real-time situational awareness and battlefield logistics capabilities to the warfighter. You will be an integral part of the ARC team managing program execution in support of our innovative and powerful IoT devices to enhance national security.

Our core offering is the ARC AI-Enabled Weapons Sensor (AEWS), which collects and transmits real-time tactical data to the cloud. This information enables battlefield/tactical awareness and aggregated insights into big data sets that do not exist today. ARC technologies were initially developed in partnership with DARPA and the National Science Foundation and leverage internet-of-things (IoT) technology and machine learning to derive actionable insights and transform operational responses. This novel technology will be deployed at scale to enhance safety, decision-making, and sustainment for the warfighter at the tactical edge.

What You'll Do

ARC is looking for a sharp, organized Sales Operations Associate to help run the engine behind our growth. You will support ARC’s growth team by keeping our pipeline, contracts, and customer data accurate and visible, so leadership can make fast, informed decisions about where to focus.

This is an ideal first role for a recent graduate who loves structure, data, and problem-solving and wants to learn how defense technology is sold, funded, and fielded. You will see the full path from first customer conversation to contract award to delivery, and you’ll have real ownership from the start.

Role Responsibilities - How You Will Make an Impact

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain ARC’s CRM so opportunities, contacts, and stage updates are complete, accurate, and current
  • Track opportunities across government pathways such as SBIR/STTR, other transaction agreements, task orders, and exercise and demonstration engagements
  • Prepare weekly pipeline reports and forecasts for the VP of Growth and the executive team
  • Flag stalled deals, missing information, and upcoming deadlines before they become problems

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain dashboards on pipeline value, win rates, sales cycle time, and customer activity
  • Turn raw data into clear, one-page summaries that leadership and investors can use
  • Support quarterly business reviews and board and investor reporting with accurate figures

Quotes, Orders & Contracts Support

  • Prepare quotes, pricing sheets, and order paperwork using approved rates, in coordination with Finance and Contracts
  • Track contract vehicles, period-of-performance dates, funding, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with Finance on invoicing and with Program Management on deliveries and customer commitments
  • Maintain a clean, organized record of customer agreements and supporting documents

Capture & Proposal Support

  • Support proposal logistics, including schedules, checklists, document control, and submission tracking
  • Help maintain ARC’s registrations and representations, such as SAM.gov, and keep compliance documents current
  • Research opportunities, customers, and competitors, and summarize findings for the growth team

Events & Customer Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics for trade shows, field exercises, and customer demonstrations, including shipping, travel, and scheduling
  • Maintain contact lists, follow-up tracking, and event reporting
  • Help keep customer communications consistent, responsive, and professional

Process & Tools

  • Document sales and capture processes and suggest ways to make them simpler and faster
  • Help improve how ARC uses its CRM, forecasting, and reporting tools as the company grows
  • Follow ARC’s security procedures when handling controlled unclassified information (CUI)

Relevant Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, data analytics, political science, or a related field, earned within the last 12 - 18 months or graduating soon
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data cleaning
  • Excellent attention to detail and a habit of double-checking your work
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Comfort learning new software quickly

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
