Das Arsenal – Institut für Film und Videokunst e.V. ist eine Berliner Institution im silent green Kulturquartier im Wedding. Es widmet sich der Pflege und Entwicklung des internationalen Films und der Videokunst. Die Arbeit des Arsenal umfasst den Betrieb des Kino Arsenal, den Filmverleih arsenal distribution, die Sammlung, den Erhalt und die Restaurierung von Werken des unabhängigen und experimentel­len Kinos (Living Archive) sowie die Durchführung des Berlinale Forum sowie Forum Expanded als Teil der Internationalen Filmfestspiele Berlin (Berlinale).

Mit der Präsentation von Film-, Video-, installativen und performativen Arbeiten zu wechselnden Schwerpunkten und an verschiedenen Orten in Berlin übernimmt das Forum Expanded innerhalb der Berlinale die kritische Kommentierung und Erweiterung des Kinematografischen.

Zur Unterstützung während unseres Festivalbetriebs bieten wir ab dem 1. Dezember 2026

ein 3-monatiges (Pflicht-)Praktikum an.

Das Praktikum umfasst eine vollzeitnahe Tätigkeit von 39 Stunden. Die Aufwandsentschädigung liegt bei 538 € brutto /Monat. Wir führen unsere Bewerbungsgespräche ​voraussichtlich in der Kalenderwoche 44 durch.

Aufgaben

  • die Unterstützung und Mitarbeit in der Programmorganisation (Organisation des Sichtungs- und Auswahlprozesses, Kommunikation mit Kunstschaffenden, technische Logistik, Betreuung von Veranstaltungen und Events etc.)
  • Redaktion (Arbeit mit dem Redaktionstool der Berlinale, Erfassung von Credits und Filmdaten, Textarbeit, Pflege der Sektionswebsite, etc.)
  • Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit (Mitarbeit an Pressemitteilungen, Pressevorführungen, Social Media, etc.)
  • Gästebetreuung (Unterstützung bei Akkreditierung, Hotel- und Flugbuchungen, Koordination des Fahrdienstes, etc.)

Anforderungen

  • Affinität zur Filmkultur und Interesse an erweiterten Formen des Filmischen
  • Selbständigkeit, Teamfähigkeit, Zuverlässigkeit
  • Gute deutsche und englische Sprachkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • sicherer Umgang mit allen gängigen Office-und Webanwendungen

Das Praktikum kann nur als verpflichtendes Zwischenpraktikum im Studium absolviert werden. Ein entsprechender Nachweis der Universität (z.B. Auszug aus der Studienordnung o.ä.) sollte mit den Bewerbungsunterlagen eingereicht werden.
