Binnen de opleiding Sociaal Werk zoeken we een docent voor het opleidingsonderdeel Community Work binnen het profileringstraject Opbouw- en Beleidswerker.

In het laatste jaar van de opleiding kiezen studenten een beroepsprofiel dat aansluit bij hun interesses, talenten en professionele ambities. Binnen het profileringstraject Opbouw- en Beleidswerker laat je studenten kennismaken met het opbouwwerk en laat je hen verkennen hoe maatschappelijke uitdagingen samen met de doelgroep worden geconcretiseerd.

Als docent verzorg je onderwijs over

  • de praktijk van opbouwwerk en jeugdwelzijnswerk;
  • dominante maatschappelijke en politieke ideologieën en hun impact op mens en samenleving;
  • actuele thema's zoals ongelijkheid, sociale kwetsbaarheid en welvaartschauvinisme;

Je geeft les en coacht studenten in het derde jaar; je kan de studenten inspireren en enthousiasmeren en je bent vertrouwd met onderwijsprocessen inclusief evaluatie. Je zet didactische expertise in om de leeromgeving vorm te geven zodat de doelstellingen, de inhoud en de evaluatie op elkaar afgestemd zijn, rekening houdende met de didactische principes.

  • Je kent bijzonder goed het brede werkveld en de praktijk: je beschikt over expertise in sociaal werk, opbouwwerk, jeugdwelzijnswerk, sociaal beleid,...
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken maar bent een sterke samenspeler.
  • Je toont flexibiliteit: je kan omgaan met onvoorziene omstandigheden en speelt gericht in op diversiteit.
  • Je werkt resultaatsgericht: je formuleert uitdagende, maar haalbare doelstellingen.
  • Je werkt zelfgestuurd: je geeft de eigen prestaties en persoonlijke groei richting vanuit reflectie.
  • Je toont ondernemingszin: je signaleert kansen en stelt acties voor om verbetering of vernieuwing te bekomen.
  • Je bent vaardig in het gebruik van de courante ICT-toepassingen.
  • Je bent communicatief zowel schriftelijk als mondeling.
  • Vertrouwdheid met het hoger onderwijs is een pluspunt.
  • Een bachelor of master diploma is een vereiste om toegang te hebben tot de functie.
  • Je bent beschikbaar vanaf 20 november 2026 en kan je engageren voor lesactiviteiten op woensdagnamiddag en donderdagvoormiddag; deze beschikbaarheid is essentieel om de opdracht op korte termijn op te nemen.
