Artlist is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Core group and build AI-powered creative products with Node.js and React.

You’ll join a small, collaborative team and own features end to end, from understanding user needs and shaping the solution to building and delivering it across the frontend and backend.

What you'll do

  • Take new AI-powered products from idea to launch, shaping the architecture and owning them end to end, backend and frontend.
  • Turn the latest generative AI models into polished creative tools that people love to use.
  • Work closely with product and design to turn user needs into intuitive experiences, and push for improvements you spot.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to build scalable, reliable foundations for our products.
  • Help shape how the team builds with AI: agentic coding workflows, AI-assisted review and testing, and the shared tooling around them.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with React and Node.js. Deep expertise in one and solid experience across the stack is fine.
  • A track record of owning and shipping features in production.
  • Hands-on, daily use of AI development tools and a clear view of where they help and where they don't.
  • You know how to prioritize your work and keep things simple.
  • You're comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • A business mindset: you understand the impact of your work on users and the company.
  • You care about the team's success: you share what you learn and help others grow.
