Als algemeen directeur ben je de verbindingspersoon tussen het politieke bestuur en de organisatie. Je staat in voor de algemene leiding van gemeente en OCMW en bewaakt mee de realisatie van de beleidsdoelstellingen, de kwaliteit van de dienstverlening en de verdere ontwikkeling van de organisatie. Je combineert strategisch inzicht met nabij leiderschap en weet mensen, teams en beleid met elkaar te verbinden.

Een greep uit je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je staat in voor de algemene leiding van gemeente en OCMW As en draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de werking van de organisatie.
  • Je vervult de decretale opdrachten van algemeen directeur conform het Decreet Lokaal Bestuur en bewaakt de organisatiebrede governance.
  • Je bewaakt de realisatie van het meerjarenplan en de strategische beleidsdoelstellingen van het bestuur.
  • Je bent voorzitter van het managementteam en geeft richting aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de organisatie.
  • Je beweegt je vlot in een politiek-bestuurlijke context en combineert onafhankelijk advies met een loyale uitvoering van het vastgestelde beleid.
  • Je begeleidt de organisatie in een volgende fase van professionalisering, samenwerking, digitalisering en toekomstgericht werken.
  • Je stimuleert samenwerking, eigenaarschap, verantwoordelijkheid en een performante organisatiecultuur.
  • Je bewaakt de continuïteit, kwaliteit en weerbaarheid van de organisatie en dienstverlening.
  • Je coördineert organisatiebrede dossiers en zorgt voor een efficiënte en resultaatgerichte werking.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de financieel directeur en bewaakt mee de financiële duurzaamheid van de organisatie en de onderbouwing van strategische investeringskeuzes.
  • Je versterkt de verbinding tussen bestuur, management, medewerkers en externe partners.
  • Je vertegenwoordigt gemeente en OCMW As binnen externe netwerken, samenwerkingsverbanden en interbestuurlijke overlegstructuren.

Je bent een ervaren leider die richting geeft, mensen verbindt en organisaties in beweging brengt. Je combineert visieontwikkeling met sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en behoudt tegelijk voeling met de werkvloer.

Je beschikt over:

  • een masterdiploma of gelijkgesteld diploma.
  • minstens 4 jaar relevante beroepservaring in een leidinggevende rol of als trekker van complexe projecten, opgedaan binnen de laatste 8 jaar.
  • ervaring met organisatieontwikkeling, verandertrajecten en strategische beleidsvoering.
  • sterke leiderschapsvaardigheden en ervaring in het aansturen van leidinggevenden.
  • inzicht in financieel en organisatiebreed management.
  • sterke communicatieve en verbindende vaardigheden.
  • een goed ontwikkeld organisatiebewustzijn en politiek-bestuurlijke sensitiviteit.
