The posting

Join AS Hellas, a leading automation company, Best Workplaces™ for Young Professionals 2026 awarded, where innovation, technology, and collaboration drive success.

We are leaders in industrial, building, and production line automation in Greece, delivering advanced solutions for factories, energy facilities, infrastructure projects, and smart buildings. As a Siemens Solution Partner since 2009, we combine automation expertise with modern software technologies to help our customers optimize and digitalize their operations.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Cybersecurity & IT Engineer with hands-on exposure to cybersecurity operations and an interest in developing further within a collaborative IT team. The primary focus is security monitoring, threat identification, employee security awareness, and security documentation.

You will monitor security events across tools such as Microsoft Defender and FortiAnalyzer, investigate initial findings, and help colleagues recognize and respond to cyber threats. You will receive structured training on our environment and gradually contribute to security improvements alongside the IT Manager. Occasional IT infrastructure and 2nd-level support are secondary parts of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review security alerts and logs across endpoint, network, and identity systems (including Microsoft Defender, FortiAnalyzer, and Microsoft Entra ID).
  • Perform initial triage of suspicious events, document findings, escalate incidents, and track follow-up actions.
  • Prepare and deliver security awareness sessions, phishing-related guidance, presentations, and practical training materials for employees.
  • Create and maintain security procedures, user guidelines, incident records, and related documentation; support ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 activities.
  • Track vulnerabilities, endpoint security status, and remediation actions; contribute to security reporting and improvement plans.
  • Assist the IT Manager with security configurations, hardening, and implementation activities as experience grows.
  • Provide occasional 2nd-level IT troubleshooting and support coverage when operationally required.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in IT and/or cybersecurity, including practical involvement in cybersecurity activities.
  • Experience reviewing security alerts or logs, investigating suspicious activity, or working with endpoint/network security tools.
  • Understanding of common cyber threats, incident handling fundamentals, and security best practices.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation, instructions, or training materials and explain security topics to non-technical colleagues.
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, identity management, networking, and firewalls.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and willingness to learn; good command of English.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Microsoft Defender, Fortinet/FortiAnalyzer, Microsoft Entra ID, or Intune.
  • Participation in security awareness programs, phishing simulations, or user training.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management, SIEM tools, or ISO 27001 / ISO 22301.
  • Basic scripting or systems administration experience.

Benefits

  • Competitive full-time salary, according to the job role, qualifications, and experience
  • A friendly and modern work environment
  • Health and life insurance for all employees and their families
  • Continuous training and opportunities for professional career development within a growing team
  • The company will provide a workstation, mobile phone, and use of its car fleet

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
