The posting

Asepha builds advanced AI tools that re‑imagine how medications are prescribed, verified, and supported across the pharmacy ecosystem. Backed by venture capital funding and trusted by multiple Fortune 50 healthcare organizations, we’re scaling rapidly, and looking for a Forward Deployed Pharmacist who can run real pharmacy workflows and grow into a customer‑facing or product role. Your work will have a direct impact on improving pharmacy workflows and health outcomes.

Join our mission: We’re building a world where medication delays are impossible. From the moment a prescription is written, the path to therapy start is clear, fast, and predictable. Asepha is the data fabric for the therapy-start journey, connecting the fragmented steps that slow down medication access: intake, coordination, utilization management, and clinical services.

Role and Responsibilities: You’ll be part of our internal pharmacy team and product voice, a hands-on operator helping shape next‑generation solutions for clinicians, payers, and patients Reviewing AI outputs, handling exceptions and turning gaps into product changes. Safeguarding clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and patient safety, embedding guardrails around USP, REMS, payer policies, etc. Partnering closely with engineers and designers, along with external pharmacy & health‑tech organizations, to bring new products to life Troubleshooting issues customers hit in real workflows, resolving what you can directly and routing the rest to engineering with the context they need to fix it Sitting in on and eventually leading client check-ins, translating customer feedback and needs into something the team can act on Bringing a clinical eye to internal playbooks and support docs Closing the loop between support and product, spotting the recurring questions and friction points that signal product growth Become a clinical voice customers trust, the pharmacist on the other end who actually understands their workflow

Qualifications: PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy 2+ years U.S. pharmacy experience across specialty, retail, or hospital settings Comfortable doing hands‑on operational work, and documenting where workflows break. Detail oriented and highly communicative team player. Startup mentality: bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, willingness to iterate quickly. We work in fast cycles, low bureaucracy, your ideas will ship quickly. Preference for pharmacists located in New York (hybrid 3 office days per week). Open to remote for the right candidate if they have deep industry expertise and are willing to travel often.

Nice-to-haves: Deep familiarity with benefits verification, prior authorizations, medical billing, payer formularies, limited‑distribution meds, and medication assistance pathways. Customer-facing experience, support, account management, or clinical liaison work, ideally for a pharmacy, payer, or health-tech product Familiarity with payer requirements, coverage criteria, and reimbursement pathways across commercial and government plans Exposure to eRx and ePA standards (NCPDP SCRIPT, FHIR) Experience building professional communities or educational content.

How we work We’re hybrid in our Manhattan or Toronto office three days a week. We’re only open to remote candidates if they have very deep industry expertise and are willing to travel. Small, senior team, low politics, high ownership, quick shipping cadence. Culture built on transparency, continuous feedback, and good espresso. We’re a low‑ego, innovative team that moves fast, challenges ideas (not people), and supports one another.

Perks: Competitive compensation package, including $120-140k annual salary + stock options Full medical, dental, vision, and extended health benefits Unlimited days off to maintain a healthy work-life balance + 2 weeks of company-wide office closure during the holidays 2 annual off-site trips with the team Complimentary breakfast and lunch provided daily in the office. Dinner also provided if staying past 7pm 100% of our team ships code, including pharmacists who joined us with zero technical background. If you're curious about a career in tech, some of the best engineers in the industry will teach you, and this is one of the most hands-on ways to learn it.

Note: Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
