Operations Engineer

Ashland heeft een uitdagende opportuniteit als Operations Engineer om zich bij onze Ashland Specialties Belgium activiteiten aan te sluiten op onze locatie in Doel-Beveren. Het gaat om een zeer zichtbare, belangrijke rol binnen het bedrijf en de Afdeling Operations. Deze functie rapporteert aan de Operations & Maintenance Manager.

De verantwoordelijkheden van de functie omvatten, en zijn niet beperkt tot het volgende:

  • Je staat in voor de ondersteuning van de productie, waarbij je dagdagelijkse problemen oplost om tijd- en kwaliteitsverliezen te minimaliseren
  • Door productiedata te analyseren, spoor je oorzaken van productie gerelateerde klachten en afwijkingen in procesparameters op en stel je verbetering- en/of correctieve maatregelen op
  • Je bent een spilfiguur tussen de verschillende afdelingen en weet na je analyse juiste mensen in te schakelen
  • Je bent nauw betrokken bij:
  • De voorbereiding van shutdowns en startups Verbeteringsprojecten De implementatie van engineering projecten
  • Je hebt op dagelijkse basis contact met operators, weet er leeft op vlak van technische problemen en geeft hen de nodige trainingen
  • Je organiseert en neemt deel aan Root Cause Analyses omtrent veiligheid, milieu en kwaliteit
  • Je bereidt interne en externe audits en inspecties voor en volgt deze op
  • Je bent lid van het operational support team, je werkt nauw samen met de Afdelingen Onderhoud en Process engineering en rapporteert aan de Operations & Maintenance Manager

Om in aanmerking te komen voor deze functie, beschik je over het volgende:

  • Je behaalde een master chemie (industrieel, burgerlijk of bio-ingenieur) of hebt een gedegen ervaring in de functie als supervisor, teamleader of operator binnen een chemische productieomgeving, met sterke nadruk op analyses
  • Een eerste ervaring in een vergelijkbare positie (process, project of production engineering) is een pluspunt, maar geen noodzaak

  • Je beschikt over goede interpersoonlijke en sterke communicatieve vaardigheden
  • Je hebt verantwoordelijkheidszin, kan zelfstandig werken maar bent ook een echte teamplayer
  • Je bent goed georganiseerd en werkt nauwkeurig
  • Je bent stressbestendig en kan prioriteiten stellen
