  • Perform preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on ASM semiconductor systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex electromechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, gas delivery, RF plasma, robotics, and microprocessor-controlled systems.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate equipment issues and develop effective corrective action plans.
  • Implement engineering changes, field modifications, and equipment upgrades as released through Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Respond to customer equipment issues and provide timely, accurate, and high-quality technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with ASM technical support, engineering teams, and customers to resolve equipment performance issues.
  • Maintain detailed service documentation, maintenance records, parts usage records, and management reports.
  • Prepare and communicate daily status updates, pass-down reports, and issue escalations.
  • Share lessons learned, troubleshooting findings, and technical resolutions with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through professional service delivery and proactive communication.
  • Promote ASM spare parts offerings and identify opportunities for future business growth.
  • Follow ASM safety procedures and exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions exist.
  • Work in semiconductor cleanroom environments while adhering to required PPE and safety protocols.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required to support customer operations.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent military technical training.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting OEM semiconductor capital equipment in either field service or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to obtain Level 3 certification through ASM's Global Training Center (GTC).
  • Knowledge of wafer fabrication environments and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting gas delivery systems, vacuum systems, RF plasma systems, and semiconductor equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and gas schematics.
  • Knowledge of robotics, microprocessor-based controllers, and basic software concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools, oscilloscopes, and digital volt meters (DVMs).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and effectively in team environments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work in semiconductor cleanroom environments and travel up to 25-75% as business needs require.

What Sets You Apart

  • Experience supporting ASM semiconductor toolsets.
  • Advanced knowledge of closed-loop gas and vacuum control systems.
  • Experience applying structured problem-solving methodologies to complex equipment issues.
  • Proven ability to develop and present technical action plans to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong customer-facing experience within semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Experience maintaining detailed service documentation and technical reports.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to proactively identify and resolve customer challenges.
  • Strong customer focus with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Experience collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and customer support organizations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
