The posting

Introduction

ASML brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our main headquarters are located in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we also have 18 office locations around the United States- including main offices in Wilton, CT, Chandler, AZ, San Jose, CA and San Diego, CA.

U.S. Learning Shared Services (LSS) enables learning across the organization by providing reliable, scalable, and customer-focused learning operations and services. We partner with Learning teams, Academies, business stakeholders, instructors, and employees to simplify how learning is administered and delivered, allowing our partners to focus more of their time on capability development, curriculum, and learning strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Learning Systems & Services Specialist supports Learning Management System administration, resolves system and learner issues, maintains learning data, assists with testing and system changes, and partners with experienced System Experts on increasingly complex activities. The role also provides operational support for learning programs and events, building an end-to-end understanding of how learning technology supports the learner and stakeholder experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative and operational support for courses, programs, curricula, and instructor-led or virtual learning events.
  • Manage day-to-day LMS administration, including learning offerings, events, sessions, assignments, enrollments, completions, and learner records.
  • Build working knowledge of LMS functionality, configuration, business rules, and established learning-system standards.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for LMS and learning-system questions by researching and troubleshooting issues before escalating those requiring additional technical expertise.
  • Manage learning inquiries and service requests through ServiceNow, ensuring they are documented, prioritized, resolved, and closed appropriately.
  • Investigate system and data issues, identify potential causes, document findings, and partner with senior System Experts or technical teams to resolve them.
  • Perform routine system and data-quality checks and support the correction of identified issues.
  • Support testing for new functionality, enhancements, fixes, releases, and process changes, documenting results and identified defects.
  • Support learning reports and data requests while identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve system or service performance.
  • Partner with Learning teams, Academies, instructors, and other stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective LMS setup and administration.
  • Apply established system standards and LSS processes, identifying requests that require exceptions, further analysis, or escalation.
  • Coordinate learning events, including scheduling, enrollment, learner communications, attendance, completion tracking, and related administration.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, knowledge articles, system documentation, and other resources to support consistent execution and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify recurring system questions and operational issues, recommending opportunities to improve guidance, self-service, standardization, or automation.
  • Participate in process and continuous-improvement initiatives across Learning Shared Services.
  • Collaborate with other LSS team members and System Experts, share knowledge, and provide backup support to strengthen overall team capability and business continuity.
  • Continue developing technical and functional expertise with the expectation of taking ownership of increasingly complex learning-system activities over time.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Five years of experience in learning administration.
  • Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Experience using ServiceNow.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
