The posting

CMC, an Associa company, is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its condominium community in Washington, DC.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance duties of Associations involving mostly exterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and minor roofing repairs in addition to other exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safely maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.
  • Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
  • Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Hourly pay rate: $22-$25.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • High level of custoemr service skills.
  • Professional communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Ability to mange multiple tasks, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, attention to detail.
  • Work proactively, take the initiative, and team oreinted.
  • Valid driver's licenses and reliable transportation are required.
