Are you driven to make a real difference in the lives of patients?

We're seeking passionate individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, embrace new ideas, and aren't afraid to take intelligent risks. People who act with unwavering integrity and are deeply committed to making a tangible impact.

Purpose and Scope:

Lead the global configuration management strategy and capability for DigitalX, ensuring the configuration management database (CMDB) is optimized, maintained and trusted for service and business decisions. Establish a sustainable operating model, governed data ownership and fit-for-purpose service relationships that deliver measurable value across service management, security and risk. Own the process and data outcomes, working with technical platform owners who retain accountability for platform engineering and operation.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Define the global configuration management strategy, standards and roadmap aligned to DigitalX priorities. Decide which services, Configuration Items, attributes and relationships should be managed based on business value, risk and cost, preventing unnecessary growth.
  • Implement a federated operating model with clear process ownership, accountable data owners and defined responsibilities across technology and supplier teams. Define decision rights, controls, exceptions and escalation paths.
  • Ensure configuration data is managed from onboarding through change, validation, attestation and retirement. Embed ownership and stewardship into operational processes to maintain CMDB health continuously.
  • Define standards for data accuracy, completeness, compliance and currency. Establish authoritative sources, validation rules and reporting, while prioritising remediation based on business impact and risk.
  • Ensure service models accurately reflect business services, technology dependencies, criticality and ownership. Validate key relationships to support reliable impact analysis and risk management.
  • Partner with platform owners to implement discovery, integration, reconciliation and service modelling capabilities. Define source-of-truth rules and prevent duplicate or conflicting data while leaving platform engineering with the technical owner.
  • Drive automation that reduces manual effort, improves data quality and supports scalable onboarding, validation and retirement processes.
  • Ensure trusted configuration data supports incident, problem, change, security and risk processes, improving decision quality and operational effectiveness.
  • Build organisational buy-in through governance, communication and coaching. Drive accountability across teams and suppliers while demonstrating value and escalating unresolved risks.
  • Define KPIs, targets and reporting for data quality, ownership, service relationships and lifecycle compliance. Demonstrate adoption and business value through improved service outcomes, reduced rework and lower stewardship effort.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in incident management, with a focus on major incidents in a complex global environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Relevant certifications, such as ITIL, PMP, or AWS, are a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
