Een internationaal netwerk hebben is waardevol. Weten hoe je dat netwerk omzet in nieuwe projecten, toegang krijgt tot de juiste beslissingsnemers en ook buiten bestaande contacten nieuwe deuren opent, is wat in deze opdracht het verschil maakt. Deze Belgische engineering- en productieorganisatie ontwikkelt complexe maatwerkoplossingen voor de internationale chemische en petrochemische industrie. Het gaat om kapitaalintensieve projecten die samen met EPC-contractoren en industriële eindklanten worden gerealiseerd en vaak een verkoop- en uitvoeringstraject van meerdere jaren kennen. Als Senior International Business Developer zet je jouw ervaring, marktkennis en netwerk onmiddellijk in om nieuwe projecten te detecteren en de organisatie internationaal sterker te positioneren. Je blijft bewust dicht bij de markt en combineert actieve business development met het coachen van een jonger commercieel profiel. Senior International Business Developer - Functieomschrijving:

  • Je identificeert wereldwijd nieuwe investeringsprojecten en opent deuren bij EPC-contractoren en industriële eindklanten binnen de chemische, petrochemische en aanverwante procesindustrie.
  • Je ontwikkelt contacten met directie, projectmanagement, engineering en procurement tot concrete commerciële trajecten en positioneert de organisatie overtuigend als partner voor technisch complexe maatwerkprojecten.
  • Je combineert jouw bestaande netwerk met moderne markt- en prospectiemethodes, adviseert het management over commerciële prioriteiten en draagt jouw kennis over aan een junior business developer.

Senior International Business Developer - Profiel:

  • Je beschikt over een sterke internationale trackrecord in business development, project sales of capital equipment sales en hebt een relevant netwerk bij EPC-contractoren en/of industriële eindklanten.
  • Je begrijpt hoe grote EPC-organisaties en internationale investeringsprojecten functioneren en kunt aantonen dat je zelf nieuwe opportuniteiten hebt geïdentificeerd, deuren hebt geopend en commerciële trajecten in beweging hebt gebracht.
  • Je combineert technische affiniteit met overtuigingskracht op directieniveau, spreekt vloeiend Engels en Nederlands en bent bereid regelmatig internationaal te reizen. Je blijft daarbij openstaan voor nieuwe technologie, data en AI als ondersteuning van jouw commerciële aanpak.
