The posting

We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Analyst to play a key role in transforming and optimising business operations across a high-performance engineering environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of business, technology, and operational delivery, helping shape scalable systems and processes that support world-class performance. As a Business Analyst, you will lead the analysis, design, and optimisation of business processes and supporting systems across the organisation. Acting as the bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams, you will drive effective solutions across ERP, PLM, and wider business tools, ensuring alignment between operational needs and technical capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture, analyse, and refine business requirements across all phases of the ERP lifecycle.
  • Map business processes and translate them into effective system workflows and configurations.
  • Support and optimise ERP systems (particularly Epicor) and associated business tools.
  • Define functional data flows between ERP and external systems including PLM, MES, WMS, HR, and reporting platforms.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting frameworks, and KPI-driven analytics.
  • Own the full requirements lifecycle including elicitation, documentation, validation, and testing.
  • Support integration design, data mapping, migration validation, and UAT activities.
  • Translate complex product structures and legacy data into clear functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Support user training, documentation, and adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across business systems and workflows.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience in Business Analysis within ERP/business systems environments.
  • Strong functional knowledge of ERP and PLM systems, ideally Epicor.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow design, and requirements gathering.
  • Understanding of integrations, APIs, data structures, and reporting frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence decision-making while balancing cost, value, and risk.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of BoM structures, MRP, inventory, and production planning processes.
  • Experience supporting UAT, data validation, and system optimisation initiatives.

Benefits

Investing in your career is paramount. We promote professional and personal development through a provision of learning opportunities and work with you to shape your career and realise your full potential.

As part of our high-performing, collaborative team, you'll enjoy a competitive package, including a discretionary bonus scheme, private healthcare, pension plan, life assurance, TEDSgroup childcare benefits, a cycle-to-work scheme, tech scheme, and car scheme.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
