We're Hiring | Consultant Breast Surgeon

📍 Location: Dubai

💼 Employment Type: Full-Time

A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Breast Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary surgical team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and comprehensive management of benign and malignant breast conditions, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Diagnose and manage benign and malignant breast diseases through comprehensive clinical assessments.
  2. Perform breast surgical procedures, including lumpectomy, mastectomy, and breast-conserving surgery.
  3. Conduct sentinel lymph node biopsies and axillary surgical procedures when clinically indicated.
  4. Develop individualized surgical treatment plans based on patient conditions and multidisciplinary recommendations.
  5. Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and reconstructive surgeons.
  6. Participate in multidisciplinary breast cancer meetings and treatment planning.
  7. Provide preoperative assessments, postoperative management, and long-term follow-up care.
  8. Perform image-guided or localization-assisted breast surgical procedures as appropriate.
  9. Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital protocols, and international surgical safety standards.
  10. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, surgical reports, and patient records.
  11. Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery or Surgical Oncology (FRCS, CCT, American Board, or equivalent).
  • Fellowship or advanced subspecialty training in Breast Surgery / Breast Surgical Oncology preferred.
  • Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter preferred.
  • Relevant post-specialization clinical experience meeting UAE PQR requirements for Consultant classification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in breast cancer surgery, breast-conserving procedures, and multidisciplinary breast care.
  • Strong surgical judgment, communication, leadership, and patient management skills.
