We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced American Board-Certified Consultant Cardiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in cardiovascular disease management, advanced cardiac diagnostics, preventive cardiology, and complex cardiac conditions. Strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension.
  • Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform and interpret ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and Holter monitoring.
  • Diagnose and manage valvular heart diseases, cardiomyopathies, and structural heart disorders.
  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
  • Manage acute coronary syndromes and cardiac emergencies.
  • Interpret cardiac investigations, including cardiac CT, MRI, and other diagnostic imaging.
  • Perform specialized cardiac procedures within authorized clinical privileges.
  • Provide preventive cardiology services and cardiovascular risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, cardiology protocols, and patient safety standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
  • Recognized postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
  • American Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease – Mandatory.
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiology Fellowship.
  • Relevant post-specialization clinical experience meeting DHA Consultant eligibility requirements.
  • Strong expertise in cardiac diagnostics, cardiovascular disease management, echocardiography, and complex cardiac care.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Eligible for DHA Consultant Cardiology classification/license in Dubai, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
