We're Hiring | Consultant ENT Surgeon

📍 Location: Abu Dhabi

💼 Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in diagnosing and surgically managing ear, nose, throat, and head and neck conditions, including advanced ENT procedures and minimally invasive techniques. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck disorders.
  • Perform tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, and functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) within authorized clinical privileges.
  • Evaluate and treat chronic sinusitis, nasal obstruction, hearing loss, recurrent tonsillitis, and other ENT conditions.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including nasal endoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, and otoscopic examinations.
  • Conduct appropriate otologic procedures, including myringotomy, tympanoplasty, and ear surgery, where trained and credentialed.
  • Assess and manage ENT emergencies, airway obstruction, epistaxis, and foreign body cases.
  • Interpret diagnostic investigations, including CT scans, MRI, audiometry, and tympanometry.
  • Develop individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans based on clinical findings.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-operative assessments, surgical management, and post-operative follow-up.
  • Collaborate with audiologists, anesthesiologists, neurologists, pediatricians, and other multidisciplinary specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, surgical safety protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards

Requirements

  • MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT / Head & Neck Surgery.
  • Board certification or equivalent recognized consultant-level qualification.
  • American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of relevant post-specialization experience preferred.
  • Strong expertise in ENT surgical procedures, endoscopic sinus surgery, otologic conditions, and head and neck disorders.
  • Eligible for DOH Consultant ENT / Otolaryngology classification/license in Abu Dhabi, with relevant surgical privileges, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
