We're Hiring | Specialist Endocrinologist

📍 Location: Abu Dhabi

💼 Employment Type: Full-Time

A leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Endocrinologist to join its medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing endocrine and metabolic disorders, providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, adrenal disorders, and pituitary conditions.
  2. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and interpret hormonal investigations and diagnostic imaging.
  3. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders.
  4. Manage Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including insulin therapy and advanced diabetes management technologies.
  5. Diagnose and treat thyroid disorders, including hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and thyroid nodules.
  6. Evaluate and manage obesity, metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis, and calcium metabolism disorders.
  7. Monitor treatment effectiveness, disease progression, and medication-related complications.
  8. Collaborate with diabetologists, nephrologists, cardiologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Educate patients regarding disease management, lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and preventive care.
  10. Ensure compliance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards.
  11. Maintain accurate medical documentation and participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS/MBChB or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
  • Recognized postgraduate specialization in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, or an equivalent approved training pathway.
  • Board certification, fellowship, or equivalent recognized qualification in Endocrinology.
  • Valid DOH Abu Dhabi License or Eligibility, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Relevant post-specialization clinical experience meeting UAE PQR requirements for the Specialist title.
  • Strong expertise in diabetes management, thyroid disorders, and metabolic diseases.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
