The posting

Asst. Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly payroll processing, including monthly TDS calculation, payments, and statutory compliance.
  • Handle quarterly TDS reconciliation and quarterly TDS return filing, ensuring accuracy and timely compliance.
  • Manage statutory payments and compliance including TDS, GST, PF, and ESI.
  • Handle GST calculations, input tax reconciliation, and GST return filings across 7 states.
  • Manage astrologer payment cycles, including bank transfers and reconciliation of 1,800+ payment entries.
  • Oversee vendor payments, invoices, payment sheets, and daily accounting voucher entries in Tally ERP.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, sales, TDS, debtors, creditors, vendors, and payment gateways.
  • Prepare and finalize Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly books closing and finalization, ensuring all accounts are accurately closed and reconciled.
  • Prepare cash flow, profitability, revenue, and product sales reports for management.
  • Manage credit card expenses, banking operations, and FD creation.
  • Handle and oversee Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Support and coordinate Statutory Audits and Tax Audits, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations, supporting documents, and auditor queries.
  • Coordinate international remittances and ensure compliance with applicable requirements, including Form 15CA/15CB.
  • Oversee daily finance team activities and resolve employee, vendor, and internal finance-related queries.
  • Ensure timely closure of accounting activities and compliance with statutory and internal deadlines.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a fast-paced D2C, services, e-commerce, or technology-driven business.
  • Strong hands-on experience in TDS calculation, payments, quarterly reconciliation, and TDS return filing.
  • Strong experience in GST calculation, reconciliation, and return filing, preferably across multiple states.
  • Hands-on experience with PF/ESI compliance and statutory filings.
  • Experience in Statutory Audit and Tax Audit, including audit preparation, reconciliations, schedules, and coordination with auditors.
  • Strong experience in monthly, quarterly, and annual books closing and finalization.
  • Experience in preparation and finalization of Balance Sheet and P&L.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on exposure to R2R, O2C, and P2P processes.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP and Advanced Excel, with strong reconciliation and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience managing high-volume vendor/partner payment cycles and transactions.
  • Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, payroll processing, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Experience handling multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and finance operations independently.
  • B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter or equivalent finance qualification.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with international remittances and Form 15CA/15CB.
  • Exposure to payment gateway and revenue reconciliation.
  • Experience negotiating with vendors, payment gateways, or technology service providers.
  • Experience working in D2C, e-commerce, technology, or high-growth businesses.
  • Experience managing finance operations across multiple states.
