This role coordinates cross-functional handoffs, monitors KPIs, and resolves routine obstacles to maintain service levels and throughput. The Team Lead supports process adherence, implements incremental improvements, and ensures clear communication of priorities and status. Responsibilities include coaching team members, assigning tasks based on capacity, and escalating risks with actionable context. Success is measured by predictable delivery, reduced rework, and consistent compliance with standardized procedures. Essential Job Skills/Duties • Oversees resources (manpower, job set up, jigs and fixtures) to meet the needs of each process/area. Schedules and monitors attendance of the assigned team. • Escalate issues to immediate superior in a timely manner. • Provides inputs, report and troubleshoot minor abnormalities on the assigned line/area. • Handles and controls process flow to ensure smooth delivery of products and complies to quality standards and procedures. • Guides team members to ensure compliance of related to job specification and procedures. • Consistently conduct regular area audit to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures of team members. • Provides regular performance & analysis report on fall-outs. • Leads projects which drives continuous improvement, cost savings and delivery. • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area. • Executes, contributes to and participate in 5S activities on the assigned process/area. • Complies with all safety regulations and any plant regulation related to safety. • Maintain a safe working environment • Coordinate daily workflows and assign tasks by capacity. • Monitor KPIs and initiate corrective actions. • Maintain SOP compliance and update work instructions. • Facilitate cross-team handoffs and remove blockers. • Coach team on quality and productivity standards. • Escalate risks with mitigation recommendations. Required Technical Skills • Proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools. • Experience with workflow or ticketing systems. • Knowledge of SOPs and process controls. • Basic data analysis and trend interpretation. • Ability to create clear process documentation. • Familiarity with KPI dashboards and metrics. Required Soft/Leadership Skills • Clear, concise written and verbal communication. • Prioritization and time management under deadlines. • Coaching and feedback delivery skills. • Collaborative problem-solving and follow-through. • Calm decision-making in fast-paced situations. Required Education & Experience • Experience leading daily team operations. • Proven track record meeting service targets. • Experience standardizing and improving processes. • Background coordinating across multiple functions. Preferred Education & Experience • Experience in high-volume operations environments. • Exposure to continuous improvement frameworks. • Prior role as senior associate or lead. Supervisory Responsibilities • Provides day-to-day direction and coaching. • Inputs performance feedback to management. Travel Requirements • Travels: Occasionally for team or process meetings. • % of Time: Up to 10%. • Overnight Travel: Occasional, based on business need.
